Dr. Nihad Al-Mughni holds a BA in architecture from An-Najah National University, a MA from CUA University in Washington, USA, and a PhD from the University of Glasgow in Britain. He obtained the rank of Associate Professor of Architecture in the year 2011, lectured at Birzeit University (1991 - 1995). He founded and headed the architecture department at the Islamic University of Gaza. He is currently the general director of engineering and planning in the Gaza municipality and a part-time professor at the University of Palestine. He is the author of "Architectural Heritage in Gaza City" and "Building and Planning Regulations in Gaza City.”
